Hello

Hello to everyone. I have been lurking on this forum for about a month now and finally joined after purchasing a Sabre 34REQS-6. It is because of the posts on here that I have confidence the unit is pretty good quality with many satisfied owners. Of course the unit itself outwardly spoke loudly to me as well. I was a completely (well almost) satisfied owner of a Sydney Outback fifth wheel. I had zero problems or issues with it but I really wanted more windows on the "camp side" of the rv. Many smaller features contributed to the decision as well. Of course it took some persuasion to talk the wife into it when the other one is only two years old. I convinced her two years ago that the Sydney was the last one for a while and now I had to give my sales pitch again why this Sabre is the last one for a while. I sure hope this one doesn't turn out to be a lemon because I have run out of sales pitches to the wife. Thanks for the many tips on here and if I am able to contribute in some way I will too. Happy Camping!

We love our sabre! As I'm sure you will to.
None are without glitches but they in time can and will be resovled.
To often glitches are consumer inflicted and well you can't fix stupid.

I've done a lot of mods to the appreance and function of ours but in reality its perfect the way it is!

Have fun and welcome to the forum!

We love that neck of the woods. My folks have a place in Fish Creek so we visit often, camping at PSP in the summer and staying at their place the rest of the year.

Thanks everyone.
@ Triguy Peninsula State Park is my favorite campground of them all. There are definitely many local places to go to here in the county. I have a "permanent site" so to speak on my relatives land which is on the water. Electricity, water, Sat.dish to tap into and internet. Can have the local guy in the area pump out the RV for 5 bucks too. Many friends and relatives camp there throughout the year. I do travel to a few other favorite spots outside the county as well but mainly stay close to home. Heck, most people travel from long distances to get to where I already am. Pretty lucky in that regard.
I didn't get a chance to talk to the guy but I saw someone with a Sabre in Harbour Village Campground a week or so ago. Saw them leave towing with a new silver Ford truck. Probably someone on this site perhaps?
@herk...don't take this wrong but holy cow! I saw your "check list". Your wife must be a saint.

Wife does not use the checklist; I do.

If I left packing up to her we would be eating out every night and shopping at K-mart when our shorts got dirty.

She is still a saint.

For which deity; the jury is still out.

Sounds like she got a pretty good helping of brains too! My kinda gal!, but I'll keep the one I have. After 51+ yrs, I've just about got her trained.

DW found the Sabre and used her sales pitch on me. After all the searching at RV shows and dealers when I first walked into it I knew she was right. And I know she'll never let me forget it .

I am guessing your wife doesn't read this forum.
