Hello!

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I just picked up our 2015 Forest River Solaire on Tuesday and are SO very excited! Before this, we had a Coleman Clipper pop-up, 2003 but in great shape. We loved it and sold it to a friend when we decided to upgrade.
I wish it was spring instead of fall so we could get out there and start using it. In fact, if I could, I would be in it right now! :-)
Anyway, I read my entire owner's manual last night and a feeling a bit overwhelmed. I am sure we will have lots of questions.
I look forward to getting to know everyone and share stories.

Thanks!

Welcome from Wisconsin and congrats on your 2015 Forest River Solaire. Good for you for reading the owners manual, many don't bother. And don't worry about 'feeling a bit overwhelmed', we were all new to this stuff at one time and learned as we went either by making mistakes or the experience of others. Lots of friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people here to assist you with any questions.

Congrats on the new rig and welcome to the forum. Nothing stopping you from a little driveway camping and a really good way to get familiar with your home away from home.

Lot of good folks here, so the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.

Hello and welcome from nc. Go out and enjoy it some, pa isn't cold enough yet to keep you from going out camping (I used to live in south Jersey shh, don't tell anyone). Ask lots of questions, many very wise and patient people on these forums.

Agreed - we could still go camping in it and we may...although I am working this weekend and my boyfriend is working next weekend...if the weekend after that is nice, we may go then!
The only thing that concerns me is that it has already been winterized by the dealer and since we have never done either - "unwinterize or winterize," I am hesitant to do that now. It seems like its a project but I don't know? We never used the water system in our pop-up as it only had a sink and there was never any use for it. Or the fridge. So this is our first real "home on wheels" and I really want to do everything right.
We were lucky enough also, to be able to keep our pop-up in a covered garage for the winter but this new one doesn't fit so it will be exposed to the elements this winter and my instinct is to cover her up asap, swaddle her like the baby she is, and keep her cozy until spring! I know...I am a little overboard but it is my 1st, technically. LOL!

I have a feeling however, that my boyfriend will get her out to go on a hunting trip soon so I may have no choice in the matter. And I am sure I will have another thread soon with all the questions/issues we come up with!

Thank you!

X2! You are not alone at all! I was so overwhelmed I seriously considered selling my TT the first very first night after taking delivery just hours earlier. Take it one step at a time and you will do just find. We are here to help too.
