Hello!

So to make our introductions, we are moving up from a TT to TH. Last weekend we put a deposit down on a leftover 2014 XLR Hyperlite 27HFS. We are moving up from a 1999 Dutchmen 300BH, it was good to us and we got a lot of use out of it, In the 6 years we had it we have many trips & memories and now we get to open up our options by being able to take our toys camping with us.

We first saw an XLR at an RV show about 3 or 4 years ago. We weren’t shopping at the time but just looking for the future and we go every year just to scratch the itch of camping in the winter and see if there is anything new and get campground information. Well, we went through the whole show, found ones we liked and didn’t as usual. But on the way out, there was a separate exhibit room with just a handful of RV’s. We saw the XLR and checked it out and immediately knew it was the right unit for us, wife loves the decor, I like the quality & pricing and the cargo capacity is great. (We saw one “toy hauler” that had 800# cargo capacity…we have more in camping gear than that…lol)

We look forward to learning about this unit and seeing what others do and sharing our adventures here.

Welcome to the FR world!! We had a XLR toy hauler and really enjoyed it. Amazing how far they have come.
