Smile Hello!

Hi Everyone, Just joined and looking forward to hearing stories, camping ideas and tips along the way. We've been camping all our lives. We've gone from a tent to a pop-up, we just upgraded to a 21 ss Rockwood Roo. Went out the first time with it on Memorial Day and loved it. I no longer have to dig through a cold wet cooler or a plastic bin to find things. Memorial Day Weekend and Columbus Day Weekend, you'll find us at Letchworth State Park. During the summer we usually do a week long somewhere. We pick an area we wanna see and things we wanna do and then find a campground nearby - can't build a campfire in a hotel room.

Hi, and welcome! We just got a TT last Labor Day (first one.. used to tent camp) and stayed at Letchworth last Columbus Day weekend, and really loved it. We'll be there again over the 4th of July.

We have time booked at Green Lakes State Park the week before that, and Eighth Lake in August!

Welcome from I90 exit 38.
Letchworth was rated the #1 State Park in the entire US in a national survey back in late March. The same survey rated Watkins Glen SP at #3.
Happy camping!

Welcome Kjay85. Sounds like you did the natural progression, tent > pop up > Hybrid TT.

Who says you can't build a campfire in a hotel room? (Just takes a bit longer to make s'mores)
