Thanks for the welcome guys!
Welcome from Arkansas. The wife and I just bought an XLR 30HDS and really like it. We have already spent our first night in it... In our driveway

Welcome guys! A buddy of mine just traded his triple axle XLR for a tandem axle one. Those campers sure are nice! I especially like the full body paint ones! When my son is out of the nest, a toyhauler it is!

Hey Golf, what was his motivation for going from triple to tandem?

His triple axle was 43' and he was pulling it with a SRW 6.4L F350, which really wasn't a problem. He had a really tough time getting it into deer camp with us last year, plus he is retired with just he and his wife and wanted something a little shorter. So he traded for another brand new XLR which is just a bit shorter at 39', but much easier to maneuver off road. It is also about 2k pounds lighter and came with the remote 6 point leveling system. He's ALL into toys, but only carries a lifted golf cart with him.

I guess that's a good enough reason. For a second there, I thought you were trying to say he needed more truck.

Nah! He's got a Ford F350, what else would he need?
