Thumbs up Hello All from Tomball, Texas

Hello!
My wife and I have just started being full time RVers. Our home base is here in Tomball. We have a Sandpiper 5th wheel that we love. We have a spoiled Basset Hound named Stanley. I look forward to being a member of this forum.

How do I change my KW1 water filter? I tried the magic wrench but I met resistance and I am unsure as to the direction I turn it. Thanks.

Welcome form Wisconsin. Sorry I can't help with your water filter question. I can't bend, twist, and tie my body in a knot anymore so we use an external water filter.

Welcome from Huntsville, AL!

Your owner's manual should have a "how to replace" section. But in most cases, you turn counter-clockwise to remove the filter housing.

FYI, Most RV filters are meant to filter out particulate, scale, and other particles - they are not water "purification" filters. Like Wiscampsin, a lot of folks use external filters that filter out more stuff.

My take on filters is they are yet another "decreaser of my shower's water pressure" devices (especially the ones that claim to purify the city water)

I am not sure I need purified water for my toilet and if it is going inside our bodies or cooking our food, we use bottled water
