Hello from the other coast!
When it comes to towing and backing up.... practice, practice practice and it won't be too long before you get a handle on it! Finding an empty parking lot is good for that!

Remember to and enjoy the camper!!!

Welcome! This site is a great source of info, help, tips and just a bunch of friendly (and funny) folks.

I'm sure we'll all be pretty rowdy in a few months as many will be stuck at home and getting cabin fever!! (When I was a kid in Maine, during the long winter months, we called it "going house queer" but that's not PC these days!) :-)

Towing takes getting used to but, to be honest, I'm always a little nervous when out there...especially when in heavy traffic and leaving myself lots of braking room and the knuckleheads zip in front of me and hit their brakes....GRRRRR. But good mirrors are helpful, taking it easy, and never EVER make a turn if I'm not sure I can make it. (Especially a right turn or turns in heavy traffic) Better to go straight and find somewhere to turn around or just drive around the block then to hit something with the trailer.

Welcome, not sure what your towing with or which hitch your using but properly set up it should tow very well.

BTW, Good choice on the model!

Congrats on the new Rockwood! The first time I towed anything was when I took delivery of my TT. I found towing pretty easy but the backing up into a space that was a big challenge in the beginning for me.
