Hello everyone! New on this forum...

We were members of the Rockwood forum and have now joined FROG since receiving the letter about the international rally coming up in August.

We attended the first attempt of a Rockwood rally several years ago and made some wonderful friends. Several members of the Rockwood forum got together in northern Ohio and we all had a great time.

We are looking forward to the August rally and the chance to make new friends and take another tour of the plants.

We are lifelong campers. We started with tents and boats, moved to popups and boats and then skipped to Class A motorhomes when boat died. 32', then a 34' then a 39' diesel pusher. Reality hit and we decided to move to a truck and trailer combination which we skipped in our experiences.

We now own our second Rockwood. The first was a 2007 2604 and in 2010 we moved up to a 8314BSS. We love it!!!

Hope to see some of you down the road!

Welcome to the forum. I wish I could go to the FROG in Aug. but since I still work as they need me I may not be able to go.

Come back often.

Hi Steve & Jeannie!!
We followed your pattern sort of. We skipped the motorhomes but can
totally relate to tents and boats and getting tired of "sleeping on the ground".
We love our Rockwood-- particularly so because it's 7 1/2 feet wide.
I can drive down those narrow campground roads without the white
knuckles because if my truck is on the road so is my trailer.
Also we don't need wide mirror extensions.

We tent camped/boated at most of the lakes in Kentucky at one time
or another. Favorite summers were at Alligator 2 dock campground on lake Cumberland
and Mikes Landing on Dale Hollow.

Welcome to the forums!!

Yall sound like us! Started off in tents, then a 21 ft TT, 30 ft MH with tow vehicle and now a 32 ft 5th Wheel! It keeps getting better!
