Hello fellow campers and happy Wednesday

First time user of a pop up tent trailer. Bought used since we are retiring soon.
We now have a 2010 Rockwood Premier 2016G. After camping with a tent one time we decided to get a tent trailer. For being an older model l forsee treating the top against the weather. The fridge does not work on electricity so I will need to service it or replace. Other than that it looks brand new. I'm happy and excited to get my camping on!!!

Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on the 2010 Rockwood Premier 2016G. Not sure if the refrigerator runs on gas and/or electric, but running on gas works pretty good. I went on many trips where I used gas only on my RV's. My refrigerators seem to work better on gas.
If it works on gas, you might try plugging the refrigerator into it's own electrical source. One thing to remember The refrigerator always takes a long time to cool down when first turned on. Again, my refrigerator seems like it cools down faster on gas so I often start it on gas when I am leaving the storage lot bringing it home to load it for a camping trip. Our latest RV has a auto switch on the refrigerator that switches it from gas to electric if we are plugged in or on generator.
Happy camping and enjoy your RV.

Your fridge is 3-way.

12v for keeping cool while traveling.
110v AC for when you have hookups.
Propane when camping without hookups.

Probably is a Dometic. Get the model # and download the manual if you don't have it.
Should be a troubleshooting guide.

this may sound like a dumb comment, but, did you make sure the 110v switch is on and the gas and 12v are off

Thank you. So that is how it works. Yes it is Dometic. I was looking through the paperwork and found the manual. I'm going to read it this weekend.

Now this is how this site is supposed to work. No flaming or belittling. Huge reason why I rarely ask a question.

Just helping out your brother camper. Or sister camper. Man I almost got in trouble there.
