Have you had any problems with your camper yet? I have had mine since March 06 and just brought it in for a water leak under the kitchen sink and my slideouts were stalling when opening and closing. I also had a rep from FR look at it yesterday because I have some "flexing" on the front end(fifth wheel part) and the frame needs more welding. My parents have a Cardinal and that had to be done on theirs last month. When we went to check on their camper there were 3 other Sandpipers in the shop for the same problem. I dont know if Forest River is going to put out a bulletin or not but I would have your dealer check into the problem. From what we know it is the frame that needs more reinforcing !?!?!?! Go figure!! I was told that if the caulking on the front end of the camper "flexes" when hooked up to the truck then we gotta problem!! Will have my camper brought back in sometime in January to get fixed. Will keep you posted on the situation. If you have any other questions about it, feel free to email me at
