Hello for Ohio
Hello,
We have finally decided to upgrade from our old old 1981 Starcraft Starmaster 1908 (I think) popup. We got it dirt cheap ($200). has been very good to us for over 5 years. But time for us to move on.
Been looking for around for over a year but not too serious. through a friend he found a 2001 hybrid (forget make model) for a decent price. went and looked at and it was a total piece. didnt even make him an offer.
The same day we looked at a 2010 Rockwood Roo m19. in great shape. Fell in love with it. very clean and it was not detailed before we looked at it. after talking with the people found out it was my DW cousins mother/father in-law. small world. Negotiated a price that were both happy with. they later called back and said the kitchen faucet was broken and they installed new faucet, and filled both propane tanks for us. then got another call that since the power awning would not go down with the battery they put a brand new battery in for us too. Beyond thankful how this is going.
We are very excited to get out. Finally being able to have a restroom, heat and a/c (more for dog). im sure i will have a bunch of questions of various items. looks like there is a great amount of information on here.

Welcome, from the Akron area...
Two years ago we bought a used (2011) TT and couldn't be happier. IMO it was built by the better workers retained throughout the recession vs. later units which appear to have more Q&C issues...
I did replace the mattress & tires before our first trip... However, we have had 2 seasons of trouble-free camping, except for a damaged rim caused by me... We saved 30% (about $8K) buying used vs. new wholesaler prices & made it a year past the typical new TT warranty period without any issues.
Ohio has some GREAT state parks but weekends book 6 months in advance. Hocking Hills has been our favorite w/many natural wonders/caves/etc. nearby. The CG has an outdoor pool vs. other state parks whose pools are only reserved for lodge guests... Enjoy your new-to-you hybrid!

Thank you all for the kind welcome.
We have been to old man's cave/hocking hills before but never camped there. We all love it there.
Just got the title, but it says it's a 2011. Checked the 10 digit of the vin and sure enough it's a 2011. Makes the purchase price even better 😁.
