Hello from 1st time TT owner in Mi

Got our 2016 Coachmen Freedom Express Liberty Edition 292BHDS home a week ago and so far all is good. Kids did the driveway camping the second night we had it home. Hope to make lots of great family memories with it.

hello From Gastonia! The wife and I have been all over the place and have narrowed down our camper selection but different people telling me different things about what I can pull. I have a 2013 Silverado crew cab ltz with the towing package but gear ratio is the 3.42. I'm trying to keep the trailer weight to 4700. What's your take? most of what I really want is 5500 . Thanks!

Thanks for all the welcome messages. First trip scheduled for April 6-10. Excited to start enjoying the new TT. Linbergers, from the info I have found on your truck you are more than good at 5500lbs. The max tow capacity on your LTZ with tow package is 9300lbs. Seems you're no where near the point of concern as far as towing goes. If I'm not mistaken your payload is upward of 1600lbs so tongue weight shouldn't be an issue, especially with a good WD hitch.
