Hello from Adams, NY

My wife and I are new to both this forum and rving. We purchased a leftover 2015 Wildcat 317RL 5er from Great Outdoors RV in Fulton NY and have not yet scheduled our PDI. We are waiting for some nicer weather to do it. Any advice on what to ask and look for is welcome. TV is a 2012 Ram 3500 Cummins Laramie Longhorn with ram box.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum this is a great place to get questions answered and find how others have done things. See if you can find an inspection sheet on line copy it and then you and the wife go over whats on the list so you understand what you are looking for before actually going to the dealer for the PDI. congrats on the new RV

Thanks again found a couple of good PDI check lists and printed them off. Now just need to lose the snow to pick it up. Really great site so far.

Hello from just down 81. Purchased my first RV in 2008 from The Great Outdoors. They have their detractors (ALL dealers do), but I have no complaints about the PDI nor about subsequent service work. Did they offer you free off season storage?
They have a decent store, but I suggest you get familiar with Wal-Mart which has a nice RV section for chemicals, cleaners, sewer hoses at much lower prices.
Adams is a terrific gateway for some terrific camping once Spring hits.

Thanks CNY camper nice to hear from people in the area. Also about service at Great Outdoors RV being good. As for the storage they did not offer it. Not to comfortable about not hearing from then since we purchased it, however they did have some warranty work to do on it. Guess they are waiting on us to schedule the PDI.

Welcome from NC. My wife's sister lives in Keeseville NY. Traveled there in 2014. Beautiful drive. Spent two weeks there and back.

Wow! My relative in Adams worked for Adams FD and my relative in Watertown worked for Brownville FD.

It keeps getting smaller.

Actually I think it was Glen Park not Brownville. They're both so close.
