Post Hello from Alabama

Just bought a 2006 wildwood (used) and would like to know if anyone
could tell me where I could download or print as owners manual. Mine
naturally didn't have one and dealers I have contacted say they don't
know where to get one. Forest river web site doesnt offer any info
either.

Thanks

Jess

Welcome to the forum.

Forest River gives out a "generic" manual with all new campers, but it is not specific to a particular unit. Your best bet will probably be to go to each appliance and add on item (Dometic awning, AC, fridge, or Surbuban furnace, etc) website and see if they have an online manual that you can download.

Also, contact Forest River or your local dealer for the generic manual.

Hey Sparkie what part of Alabama are you in?
Maybe if you're close to someone, one of us ablidging members would be willing to give you a thourough walk-thru. The manuals are pretty much useless anyway.

You can download the individual appliance manuals from the specific mfg's websites for most appliances (A/C, Furnace, fridge, Converter, Stove, etc).

Look in Your cabbenetts Kit. area back of a door a list should be there then write down Model # and down load and print from the Company that makes them as Dematic, etc. Plumbing You will not find or wireing Just learn as You go and ask others as needed Most people are help full 100% of the time Good luck ...unless warenty is on the unit the companys do not reply to help at all I found that out. Ask a question get things fixed as You go not hard to repair most things Bushman

FR's owners' manuals are a joke. you can get the same thing by buying an Intro to RV's book.
just some generic info on the different systems that RV's have, like here's a generic plumbing system or here's a generic towing setup.
nothing is specific to the type or model of RV.

Hey Bama Rambler; I'm in a little town just outside of Auburn, AL called Beauregard, on Hwy 51 just south of I85 in Opelika

I'm a little far to be of much help but maybe someone here is closer and can help. Just let folks in the next campground know you want to learn and a lot of them are more than glad to help.
