Hello from another Ohioian!

We recently bought a 2017 Prime Time 297RSK at the Cleveland IX-Center RV Show, all because that darned salesman Wayne (General RV) made eye contact with me. We were supposed to meet up with my brother and his wife, who were planning on being the real buyers but they backed out because of the cold weather. I liked him so much that I totally forgot about him being from Michigan. I would cook him a steak dinner if our paths would cross again. We had a mistake in the paperwork that would have left me very disgruntled. I contacted Wayne and he remembered our deal well and everything turned out exactly as was agreed upon. We drug it home and I automatically leveled and unhooked it.

Now comes the bad part. Today, I went to where we parked it and tried to extend the slides and discovered that the battery was dead. Not a big deal but shore power is not an option at this location. I went home and got the battery off our old camper and got the two main slides extended, but the control panel is dead and I don't even have DC lighting. Was I not paying attention during the walkaround? It was plugged in to shore power at the time. Where is the master switch? I do not have a manual that is specific to the model.

Welcome from Delaware Ohio. Sounds like the batteries are run down pretty far. Depending on how old it is they may be bad but I'd get it to a place where you can plug in for a while to see if they come back.

Also if there is a battery disconnect make sure it is set to off or disconnected while parked. There are thing that will draw them down if not isolated while stored.

Welcome from Grafton, Ohio !!

I second the opinion that maybe your battery cutoff switch is in the off position.

Enjoy the new camper !!

Welcome to FRF!

By the way, there is no model-specific or brand-specific manual.
RV manufacturers, including FR, only provide a generic owners manual.
You should have manuals for important individual items, like fridge, WH, converter, a/c, furnace, stereo and so on.
