Hello from Asheville, NC

It is nice to join a Forest River forum. We bought our 2nd Forest River 5th wheel and really have been happy with it. One question. This one has a bt flush which is great. The problem is we have a water line leak with it. Since it has its own separate water outlet we didn't think to winterize it. Could that cause the leak or did our son-in-law forget to open the bt valve before flushiing and doesn't want to tell us? One water line goes up through floor and the other line goes down to tank. Water is coming from line that goes through floor. Where is that line attached? To toilet? (sigh) Dread fixing it!

You should have a vacuum break valve in-line with black tank flush, sometimes it does not seal properly and leaks. Try to get to seal or change or by-pass....

Thanks for the link and info. I checked to see if the valve was under the sink, but it isn't. Prob in the wall since it has to be above toilet level. I'm going to just bypass it and use a different hose so if there is any black water backflow there won't be any contamination of our city water hose.

Hello! Congrats on your new 5th wheel too. Even with it being your second 5th wheel there are lots of good ideas for you to read through especially if you are interested in doing mods.

Happy camping!
