Hello From Bend, Oregon
Hello - New member here from Bend, Oregon. Upgrading from a Fleetwood E1 tent trailer to a Forester MBS 2401s. Really excited to pick up my new RV once it's off the line and been reading these forums to learn as much as possible. Seems like this is a really active board with a lot of support from both consumers and FR staff, which is really nice to see.

Good morning and welcome to the forums from SW Idaho.
I was just in Bend a couple of weeks ago, drove from Prospect to Baker, had lunch at MCD's.

Hi and welcome to the forums 😀
In a few months we will be neighbors as my family is moving from California to Oregon, near Portland.

Hello and welcome from northern Az! Spent a lot of time in the area west of Portland when my Mom was still alive and living in Banks, Or. and I loved traveling up I5 through Oregon to get there, such beautiful country.
Happy Camping!

Welcome! I'm also in Bend! Some people down the road from recently had what looked like a E1 (yellow) for sale. I've always liked those.

Cool! Indeed I saw a yellow E1 on craigslist recently. We'll be using ours a couple more times before the new one is available to pickup. What part of town do you live in?
Can't quite tell from your profile photo but looks like you might have a "R" on the MBS chassis. Is that so? How do you like it?
Cheers!

I'm southeast of Bend, a few miles outside city limits. I love my 24R! Tomorrow I'm taking her 380 to the middle of Idaho. It's the first long trip, because we normally camp within an hour of Bend.

Right on, have fun! So cool that we have so many options so close to home. But with the motorhome we plan to travel a little further since we can "pit-stop" camp along the way. I was never willing to set up the tent trailer for one night. Our first trip might be to Enterprise, OR. Always wanted to go there.
