Hello from Ca.
I have been looking around the forums for a while and decided to go ahead and join. I had a 2005 Sierra sport sp29 for about 10 years and recently upgraded to a 2016 Spartan 1234x. When we got the Sierra we had one small child, he is 13 now and we have 3 more now. 30' with no slides was just too small if the weather was bad and we all had to be inside. I was hesitant due to the fact I will be retiring from the Navy in about 3 years and didn't really want the payment going into the unknown. we have had it out once so far and it was great, so far I'm glad we went for it. This in my first fifth wheel with a pick up and I must say I am pleased with the way it tows, it is almost double the weight of my previous unit.
My first upgrade will defiantly be a set of golf cart batteries like I had in my other trailer. I ordered some waterless car wash, 303 protectant and rejex, I'm hopping this does a good of protecting it because I have to store it outside, near the beach.
