Welcome. Probably the best forum on the internet here. Curious as what part of Louisiana you're in. I'm originally from Natchitoches. Right now, we're in Florien. Just sold house in Pine Prairie which is where my wife is from. Fill us in. There are some great people on here.

Welcome from another Louisiana RVer. We're up in the "piney woods" area. Not far enough up that we don't have gators though.

Welcome to what, IMO, is the *best* source for RVing information on the interwebs. Lots of experienced people here who seem to actually revel in sharing their knowledge and wisdom.

As someone else said, fill in the blanks....what's your flavor regarding RV make/model, etc.?

We live in Kinder, LA., 20 miles north of I-10. We just bought our Mirada from a couple in Jennings. We are longtime RVers and love camping. It's myself, husband and 2 dogs we refer to as the girls. We volunteer for COE at Lake Thurmond, just north of Augusta, in the summers. The Mirada replaces a 30' Class C. Looking forward to more room!

No kidding? I'm from Kinder. Some family still there. Live in northern CA now. Picking up a Rockwood HW277 Wednesday. Hoping to eventually work our way up to an extended trip back down to Louisiana sometime this year or next. Have fun out on the road.

Did you know that KHS recently won the Class AA Football State Championship? They played Many at the Super Dome! Go Yellow Jackets! Enjoy your new RV and be safe.

Oh yeah, I actually graduated from KHS (moved around a lot and just happened to finish my senior year there) and my family kept me up to date on the team. Very exciting! How long have you lived in Kinder? Maybe you know some of my family?

We have been in Kinder for 14 years. Grew up there, then came back to retire. I am probably a lot older than you.
