Hello from Calgary, Canada

Hello, Last weekend was memorable for our family. At the Calgary RV Show we purchased a 2013 Rockwood Premier 2516G. Since then we are talking daily about the upcoming camping season with our two boys (4 and 1) and the dog. The RV will arrive from the factory at the beginning of March. The dealer is trying to convince us that the paint, fabric and undercoating are worth the money. Is there anything we should consider? Thank you, Grand Touring CANada.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your 2013 Rockwood Premier 2516G. IMHO the paint, fabric and undercoating protection aren't worth the money. Wash and wax the exterior couple times a year, get a spray on can of fabric protector and do it yourself. Just be careful on what type of wax you use on the decals.

Thank you for the warmth welcome!

Any suggestion on the type of wax should I use for the canvas protection?

don't put wax on vinylized canvas. you can put some seam sealer on the threaded seams of the canvas.
many use Aerospace 303 on the canvas for UV protection.

GT CAN,
I think I may have midunderstood when you mention 'fabric' in your original post. The spray on fabric protection I was refering to is for the interior like your dinette cushions, not your tent ends. I have used Aerospace 303 for many applications on 4 different campers and it works well.
