Hello from California!

We live in Southern California. We settled here near my family after my husband retired from the Marine Corps. We have six children ages 9-25. Mostly we will now be camping with the younger four. So sad ...

We pick up our travel trailer tomorrow from the dealer. It was supposed to be today, however my van needed new ball bearings, brakes, etc ... and I failed to get them checked before this morning.

We have camped quite a bit and have a lot of STUFF. I'm looking forward to being in a trailer and not setting up a tent anymore... and all the beds ... and the camp stove ... and so on and so on.

Glad to be here.

Welcome and congrats! That's the main reasons we looked forward to having a trailer as well, ease of setup and stuff!, well that and an actual fridge. We only have 3 kids however 4, 6 and 9. Couldn't imagine 6 [emoji50] [emoji1] . Happy camping!!!

Welcome! Camp Pendleton has a great military only campground on the beach (jealous). Also a FROG rally in Hemet early June.

Yes!! I look forward to camping on the beach this summer. We are going to Lake O-Neill next weekend, and we signed up for Hemet already.

Welcome! I still in the service but last year I purchase a TT because I was getting tired of the same thing. Camping was becoming a major task. It is life changing having a TT. The only advice I can give you is to buy an electric grille to cook. Try not to use your gas.
