Hello from Clarksville Tn

Have owned our Coachman Freedom Express Liberty for a year now! We enjoy it but have had some issues, they all seem to finally have been handled but still need to eliminate what we consider a problem, maybe someone can direct me to a thread for the answer. My wife and I and our 5 birds and 3 dogs really enjoy meeting and learning from other campers😌 Do any of you have a problem the water tasting like a garden hose/vinyl? We use the Camcorder hose(white) and a Camcorder filter where it enters the camper. Thanks to all and let's roll!

Welcome to the forum. Have your ever drained your hot water heater if ts parked over a period of time. If not could be one reason of the foul smell. also check into replacing water hose with a good RV replacement. These can also go bad if in a lot of sun. Later RJD

We figured the Camco brand was rv grade? I drain the water heater after every trip also, thank you!

Cheatham Co. Here. We don't drink the water without running it thru a zero filter.

Welcome from another TN member. We too had plastic tasting water. We didn't get the taste from the onboard water, only from the city hook up. I started using the Gamco filters I got at Wally World. I also used a brass 90 degree fitting to connect it to the camper and that removed the plastic taste for us.
