Hello from Connecticut...

Hello everyone,

We're are very new to rving. We bought a 92 Palomino pop up 6 weeks ago and went camping with out 4yr old and 11 month old. A lot of fun and A LOT of work setting it up and trying to organize everything. Well that pop up was not gonna work for us on another trip. So we traveled to NJ yesterday and to pick up a 2010 Salem 26TBUD for a really good deal. Can't wait to go out with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated on rving. Also, we didn't get an owner's manual is there a place I can order one from, been looking online so far found nothing?

Welcome to the forum. As for a manual they are all generic and not much help. If you want one you can down load from FR web site. Being that it is used I'd do a dry run in the drive way and check everything out before heading out.
enjoy your new adventures in RVing. Laterr RJD

Welcome, Not sure about my memory, it's only been 7 months ago, but I think, I got mine in the mail from Forest River. Did you get some paperwork to send or an email address to register with FR?

Perhaps some old sage here can speak to this?

Happy trails.

Forgot to mention this. When I bought in January of this year a promotion was running to get an extra year of warranty for $150. You had to sign up within 10 days of purchase.

Get the model and brand name of each appliance you have and then go to that brands web site to get manuals.

If you are looking for plumbing or electrical diagrams you may a well forget it or make your own.

And good luck with the unit.

the OP bought a used 2010 rig.
only available on new FR towables.
and it's not a promotion, it's been available for at least 10 years.
also, the 10 day limit is apparently not the case anymore.

Thanks everyone. Never thought of looking up individual manuals for appliances, that was too easy lol I think a dry run is definitely in the plans. We didn't do a dry run with the old pop up what a mistake, live and learn.

Welcome to the forum from SW Florida. The driveway camping is a great idea. No better way to find out what works and what extras you might want on board.
