Sometimes motion of the trailer can start water siphoning out of the overflow/vent line of a full tank. Try setting out with the tank about 2/3 full and see if you still have the problem.

If that is the prolem try re-routing the line to go higher in the run to where it comes out. Alternatively, put a shut-off valve in the line that you can easily open after you've moored.

When I filled up the tank on my last RV, I would stop filling when the water spurted out the overflow. It only took 4-5 trips before I realized that even tho I thought it was full, it wasn't even close. When the vent burps, stop filling for a couple of minutes and let it settle. Then resume filling slowly until you get a full flow out the vent.
PS: All my family is from CB.
