Back to the dealer this morning to order our Heritage Glen.



Even though they "promised" to make things right, it seemed as though the price was higher than the deal for the original unit. The sales manager told me that the prices had gone up since the original unit was ordered, and they would eat the difference. But, they could not show me how they came up with the numbers.

We had also ordered a Blue Ox Sway pro hitch. To make "things right" to me, I had asked them to at least throw in the hitch...and I might consider the price of the unit. They refused. And out the door we went.

Drove to another dealer down the street and starting negotiations for ordering a HG there. Somewhat of a better start. They offered me $1,000 more for my trade in.

Yeah sounds like they were bait and switching you. Glad you walked away. Hopefully new dealer will do better.

Saturday afternoon we said goodbye to the old rig and picked up the HG rig.

Dang...how in the heck did we collect so much stuff! Took us several hours to get our stuff moved from the old one to the new one. Half the stuff we just put in boxes and hauled in the truck.

Spent half the day Sunday getting everything sort of put away. We ended up throwing away 3 big bags of stuff. It is amazing how much "stuff" you can accumulate. Going from a 5er to a TT I easily lost half of my storage space or better. But decided I did not really need to carry everything I did carry. I had the room in the 5er, so just shoved it in the basement. Went from 8 chairs to 4, etc. etc. etc. Some of the bigger items like tables I can carry in the bed of the truck now that I have it back.

Heading out for our maiden trip in the new TT next Wednesday for a long weekend.
