Hello from Florida

Hello everyone,

We recently bought our Shamrock 233S and very glad we did. Cliffnotes on how we got here:

The wife and I rented a popup for 3 nights with our 2.5 year old and a 5 month old and had a great time. A few months later (April 2016), we bought our first camper, a Jayco 17XFD (three bunk hybrid). Thinking we were buying our second camper, we went a little heavier than our Honda Odyssey could go (3990 lbs loaded with our gear at the CAT scales), knowing we would next upgrade the van within 2016. We quickly realized that wasn't a good idea for us, we bought a used Escalade to handle our needs. Then, we loved camping in our Jayco so much, we realized we like spending time inside the camper and really wanted a slide and more floor room. So we waited and shopped a lot of different RV's (TT, Fifth Wheels, different Hybrids) and kept coming back to the 233S.

We have learned so much, yet there is so much more to learn. Lookign forward to interacting with you guys.

Our best friends that got us into renting the pop-up back in 2015, also recently upgraded their old pop-up into a Shamrock 23IKSS so well be rolling in similar Shamrocks from now on.

Yes! OMG, with the depreciation hit on my 2016, I'm sure to keep that itch in check. We thought carefully and played devil's advocate on other trailer types (hard sided TT or fifth wheel) to ensure we are good for a while.

Thank you everyone for the hospitality!
