Hello from Granbury, TX.
Hi there, just wanted to introduce myself.
I'm Joe and joined this forum because we are probably going to buy a some sort of travel trailer and wanted to see what others my have to say about their travel trailers.
We have been looking at RV's for the past 7 years and while we were originally leaning towards a 5th wheel, we did not want to make make the investment in a suitable tow vehicle. So now we have narrowed our choice down to a travel trailer. Nothing specific yet, there are a whole lot of this critters on the market and of course everyone says theirs is the best.
So I will reading what you folks are saying and learning from your comments.
Catch y'all later.
JD

Welcome from Keller. I have a good friend living in Granbury that missed the recent tornado, but is suffering from the low water level in the lake - says he has been killing a good number of Copperheads due to the drought.
This is good forum to ask questions and get advice and opinions.
Check the sub forums for the various types of RV's you might be interested in.

Welcome from West Texas. Take a trip over to FuntownRV in Cleburn and look at what they've got. Pretty decent folks to deal with.

Welcome from Euless!
X2 what Bradnailer said. We bought our 5th wheel from Funtown and feel we got a good price on our new rig and our trade in. We've had good luck with their service department as well. Best of luck with whatever you choose. Happy trails.

Yep, the lake is very low at this time and your right we do seem to be having more snakes out and about this year.
We fortunate the tornado's went a long a track about 1/2 a mile northeast of us, others as you have read were not as lucky.

First, thanks for the welcome!
Next, to every one who mentioned "fun town rv center", that place in about 26 miles east of where I live and was the first dealer i was going to visit when i had completed my research.
There are other dealers in the area but I try to avoid going neas the dfw area as much as i can.

Well fortunately I only have to hear about the snakes from my friend who lives there and not encounter them personally.

We brought our FW from FunTown - be aware that they have also opened stores in San Angelo and Waco - see their web site for additional info.
