Hello From Houston

Hello - Matt and Patty in Houston, and we recently sold our 17' Casita and just picked up our Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S. We travel as a couple, and this small upgrade in size will be perfect for our needs.

We hope to meet other from the forum down the road. Have fun and of course, be careful...Matt

Welcome Matt and Patti from up the Eastex just a bit. The Casita is a neat little camper, but I suspect you'll like the new one a bit more. Hope to see ya down the road!

Welcome and congrats on the new TT! Those Casitas are really cool, though. I remember watching them being made at their factory in Kerans, TX in 1982. We were camped in a small trailer park across the highway from the original plant. What a neat concept!

Hello Susan - We have used our 2104S several times and are enjoying the extra space from our former Casita.

We've spent long weekends at Galveston Island State Park, four days on the Colorado River @ Matagorda Bay. The RV park there is really beautiful, well maintained, and inexpensive. Flounder fishing along the river and trout at night from their 2 lighted piers was great.

Our last trip was 4 days in Port Aransas. It was really nice there also, now that school is back in session. I think you'll enjoy your Rockwood, as they seem to be built quite well.

We're on the west side of Houston, near Memorial Mall. If you're off on an excursion, let us know. I plan on a 4 day trip to Lost Maples Park in October, and there's no telling between now and then.

Matt
