Hello everyone. I just traded in my 2006 Jayco Baja 10C for a 2015 Rockwood Roo 233S. Can I say I love it already? Going out this weekend for its maiden trip. I was skeptical of getting a trailer this big because of my TV. It is a 2006 Toyota Tacoma with extensive modifications to it. But I can not believe how well it tows this trailer! It is like the two are meant to be together. I am using an Equalizer hitch, the EQ, and I know that makes a huge difference but it is amazing. Have plans to camp every weekend we can all long as we can and to use it for elk hunting this year. That brings me to a question. I am looking for pictures of the holding tank heaters. I was told when I bought this that it was one of the options on the trailer. But the control panel has a spot for the switch but only the blank cover in that location. I called my dealer and they said that yes it does have them, but that they only work with A/C voltage and that it automatically turns on when I turn on the water heater. Does that sound right you any of you? It doesn't to me. Any help with this would be great. Also any suggestions for cold weather camping in a hybrid. I am doing lots of reading right now so I can familiarize myself with what others are doing. Thank You in advance and Happy Trails everyone.

Don't have the answer to your question but did want to welcome you to the forum and say congrats on your 2015 Rockwood Roo 233S.

If you have the heated tanks there should be a switch for them. If you want to check to see if you have them look under the trailer at the dump valves. The heat pads should be attached to the lines near where the dump valves are & there will be one on the bottom of the fresh water tank. The heat pads are 12 volt, but you would want to be connected to shore power to use them. Congrats on the 233S. We love ours.

Another comment on cold weather camping. Put reflectix insulation in the zippered windows of the bunk ends. Use either Popup Gizmos or make your own from sportsman space blankets. Both help with temp control whether hot or cold.
