Thumbs up Hello from Illinois

Hello all, I am a commercial member, from Illinois, new to this forum, but I have a good suggestion for you.
I noticed the forum is missing an important part of the RVing Lifestyle,
Specifically a Park Model RV Section.
There is a Forest River Park Model Division which builds 4 brands of Park Models
USA Models: Quailridge, Summit, & Cabin (RVIA SEALED AND APPROVED).
Canada Model: Quailridge Canada (CSA SEALED AND APPROVED).
Normally Park models stay on permanent or semi permanent Campsites and since they have the RVIA seal of approval they can be placed in many Compgrounds across the USA. Many "Yogi Bear" type campgrounds, and many private campgrounds welcome "The Park Model Lifestyle"
Thanks for your time, and consideration.
-Kelly Hicks

Couple More Photos of Park Models

Note: The previous photos have "Computer Generated Foundations".
They actually have wheels and a removable hitch.
These photos are from the Forest River Louisville RV Show.
Most get vinyl skirting (if allowed) and the tongue removed and stored underneath. (if allowed)

What kind of price range are most of these catagorized in-msrp wise?
How wide are these?
Also can these cabins be moved by the normal rver with say a 1ton truck or are these to be moved by and setup by a mobile toter?

Ps. They look nice! I would probably build bigger if i was going that route, but i like my 5er for now! Its our lake house, we don't really do the real camping....you know tents, bugs, sand and all that "fun-ness"!

Hello MillerTime

I'll do my best to answer you.
MSRP is a wide range from mid 30K past 60K.
They range from 10 wide to 12 wide, but all are limited to 400 square feet.
In Illinois the minimum legal tow vehicle for anything up to and including 12 wide is a 1 ton dual wheel pickup. That said they require Wide load permits to roll down the highway. Easily available from "wide load permit services" or you can get them yourself.
These are Illinois rules, and I am based in Illinois. Check your own state laws, please. -Kelly Hicks

Hmmm....just looked at your site. Nice indeed. I guess the 400sq ft is without the loft. Really not a bad price point either!

You are correct. Park Models are limited to 400sq feet, and the loft does not count as square footage in the USA provided it does not exceed 60 inches
