Hello from Iowa!

We just bought our first travel trailer for our family (2017 wildwood 31kqbts). Its awesome and the kids love it. Got our first trip to Tennessee already planned for the end of June! Any advice right off the bat?

Welcome from Missouri and congratulations on the new Wildwood.

Where are you located in Iowa? Have a son and D-I-L in West Des Moines.

Advice? Just take it slowly...you aren't driving the family mini-van. Don't get in a rush and everything will be fine.

Where are you going in Tennessee?

Driveway camp right off the bat to get familiarized with your unit!
Did you buy at Cheyenne?

We live in the qca as well. Bought from Fraziers. We are going to Pigeon Forge, TN.

We have spent the last two weekends out at Scott County Park and I think I made about 20 trips home for stuff we forgot or didn't have. Man am I glad we stayed close.

Your definitely right about taking it slow. Its a whole different world with that on the back end of you. I don't think I have gone over 50 or 55 yet.!

Welcome from another IOWAN, I want to let you know that we are having a Rally in the Amana Colonies over OktoberFest . It is close and over the weekend so the kids will not have to miss any school. Check it out Forest River Owners Group - The official owner's group of Forest River RV, manufacturer of world-class recreational vehicles.
