Hello from Lancaster Co. PA

Been tenting with the wife for some 20 odd years and am tired of sleeping on the ground, and the rain, etc., etc.
Getting ready to pull the trigger on a brand new Roo 19. Tow vehicle is a 4.7 V8 Explorer with tow package.
Really excited about being "off" the ground and being dry.
Already have learned some valuable tips in the 2 days I have been looking thru the various posts.

Great camping in PA. White Oak (Strassburg) is one of the nicest around if you are looking for a first time out location.

Congrats and welcome some fine camping right in your own back yard. We will be at Spring Gulch 2 weekends in April and Oak Creek on Mothers day weekend, feel free to come test out the new camper.

Welcome aboard from another fellow PA camper. Lake in Wood is another great local campground.

Ahh yes, I recall days when we tented, about 15 year ago. Then we bought a hybrid (Kodiak) WHAT a difference!

My family goes camping all the time by you!!

Yeah not much else is open with full hook up before April 1st. We may head to elk neck sp in north east, md if we get a decent wknd in March. Other than that spring gulch will be our first out this year and in our new fiver.

An update........our offer for a brand new Roo 19 was accepted at Grumbine's in Hbg. today. We will pick it up next Saturday and begin the process of moving our stuff from rainproof boxes to the camper itself.
Really cannot wait till the first camp weekend. We will keep it close for the first couple months till we work out our routine and our first big trip will be the Oyster Festival on Chincoteague Island for 9 straight days.
