Hello from Maryland

Hello from MD! This forum has been such a valuable resource for me. Thank you to all contributers!

Just got a brand new Rockwood Roo 23ss.
The camper is an awesome concept and we have been out once. Kinda a love it kinda hate it now. Discovered that the bunk ends were leaking in heavy rains.

Will describe details in another post.

Kip

Welcome to FRF, from another 23SS owner.

did you pre-wet the canvas tent ends and then let them dry out before going camping, per the instructions in the owner's manual?

or are you sure it wasn't condensation?

sounds like you might be new to hybrids. we've had our 23SS for over 7 years now and NEVER had leaks in the tent ends, except for condensation, which was cured by air movement and Popup Gizmos.

have you purchased Popup Gizmos or the generic solar blanket versions?

Hi Bikendan. Thanks for the welcome and information. I'm going to post a more detailed message about this. It only leaks when the doors are closed after a long rain. Water gets trapped between the bunk door and canvass. As a result the water seeps through the canvass and into the trailer.
