Hello from Minnesota

Hi all. I am glad I found this site. It should be a great place for people to share ideas & stories about their camping trips. We used to own a 2001 Rockwood 2605, unfortunately while fixing a flat on the interstate, a car smashed into the the back end and basically took out the water heater section of the bathroom (while my husband was in it!). Needless to say the insurance company totaled it (and no one was seriously hurt). We are now going to pick up our new 2006 Wildwood 29FKSSLE on Wednesday!

Welcome.
Sorry to hear about your mishap.
Glad no one was seriously hurt. On a lighter note, Congrats on your new trailer. Post some pics of it when you get a chance.

We love pictures.

Good luck on the road.

Welcome to the site. Sorry to hear about the bad luck with the Rockwood but glad no one was hurt. Was that a rear kitchen model? The current 2605 is the same floorplan as our Flagstaff 26RKS. It works real well for my wife and me. BTW, congratulations on the new rig.

Thanks for the well wishes

This is her husband posting again (She's going to look into changing the ID to just "Silnes").

I was in the back of the camper when they clipped us, doing fine now. It was a rear bathroom model and I've never seen one with the same floorplan. The sink and stove were on the side next to the 18" slideout for the sofa.

It was fairly small but we used it for almost 5 years. Lots of camping experiences in that one. She missed it pretty quickly, so we're lucky to pick up the new Wildwood tomorrow.

Will do. Tomorrow afternoon. I'll remind the wife.

Errr, this is the husband again. I signed up for my own account. Sorry for the confusion.
