Hello from Missouri

Hello,
We are in the process of trading up to a Rockwood 2612WS and should be going to Des Moines to pick it up fairly soon. RVOne treated us well on our first trailer so we are going back to take advantage of their service and price.

We will need to get a new equalizer hitch since the one for our Jayco 174BH isn't rated high enough. I believe that we will pay to have them supply it. My TV is a GMC Sierra 1500 with a 6.2L. We originally were going to get a larger TT (2906RS) but decided that this isn't enough truck to safely pull it.

Any thoughts about the trailer or the hitch or purchase process would be welcome.

We are looking forward to the Rockwood experience.

X2 on both. Used both on a 28 ft Jayco and now a 38 ft Cherokee. Great towing with both, never had an issue with either one.

Welcome from Rolla, Missourah!

Good recommendations, I have the Equalizer.

Two suggestions:

Search videos on the set up and adjustments so you know how it adjust if needed.

Go to a CAT scale with just your tow vehicle to see what the weight distribution is on front and rear axles.

Then, When you get fully loaded and ready for your first trip, go to a CAT scale and see what effect the weight distribution is and how you are set up.
