Hello from Nebraska

Hello Everyone!
My name is Ed and I am from south east Nebraska. I would love some feedback as we just put our offer in on a 2011 Rockwood Lite 8281SS ! We are previous fifth wheel owners but got caught in a HUGE hail storm last year that totalled our unit. Any advice or reviews of the Rockwood and I would greatly appreciate them! I never thought I would like a "bunkhouse" type, but with the seperate 1/2 bath this unit looks like it will be great for my family of Stacey, Shelby 19, Danielle 17, Nate 16, Kate 14

Welcome fellow husker! I don't have a Rockwood, but read lots of great feedback about them.
We are located just north if York, but like to get to Indian cave sp once or twice a year. always Interested to hear of any local camping spots.

We had a 2005 8280SS that we used for 8 seasons with little to no issues. I am not sure what size tanks they have these days but that was our only real complaint. We like to boondock and the tanks were pretty small, which limited us to about 4 or 5 days without dumping. Otherwise we loved the unit.
