Hello from new member in Syracuse, NY
Hi everyone -
Thank you for having this forum, great info and wisdom to be found.
We just bought our first TT at the NYS fairgrounds RV show, Rockwood Mini lite 2508. I had been looking at campers for roughly 4 years on and off. Finally convinced the wife that camping was awesome and things moved quick from there....We have 3 young kids, 5 1/2, 4, and 2 with only me with any kind of camping experience.
My family had a pop-up then I did tent camping for years. Used this great camper as bait for luring the wife to camping.
Been doing some backyard camping until I put it in storage for the winter and I’m throughly enjoying having TT. Whole new camping experience for me (much more comfy lol).
Looking forward to years of camping with the family and the sharing of knowledge with you guys/gals.

Thanks everyone!
There are some great places in the finger lakes...Watkins Glen is great and even though not in the finger lakes, Letchworth...those are the 2 I’m most excited to take the family to (I grew up going to Southwick beach a lot)...now I just have to wait out the winter, the only downside to buying this time of year....

Welcome from Erie, PA. We have been to Letchworth and Watkins Glen. Both great. Buying now does make for a wait but using the time to learn everything you can before the first trip is worth the wait.
