Hello From Newbies

We just joined the forum after lurking awhile while pondering our tt decision. We placed our order for a Rockwood 2604SS a few weeks ago and heard today it may arrive the first week of December. So here we go - and we want to say hello!

We're Dave & Helen and we're very much looking forward to hitting the road as soon as we can. I spent too much time in the office during my working years to really see the country, and Helen is from Europe - so we have much to see in our beautiful land.

I've already learned a great deal from reading the forum and expect to learn much more. Thank you for being here.

Dave & Helen

Welcome to FRF Dave and Helen. It sounds like you are already enjoying the forum. Now it's time to get that rig and enjoy it. Waiting is tough but it will be worth it.

to FRF and congrats on the new RV. That first trip should be in your driveway. Just pretend the house isn't there. You'll get a chance to get familiar with the RV and find any little thing that may need to be fixed. Besides it's a good way to get the list together of the things you forgot to bring. Then just sneak into the house and get them before you get caught. Have a great time! December is only a couple weeks away.

Hello and congratulations on your purchase. We have had our new 2604SS for a month and love it. We just put in into storage this week. That was a sad day. We did get to use it for 12 nights which isn't too bad for just getting it. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we have ours. Can't wait till spring!!

Thank you all for the warm reception. We are delighted to be here.

We live in a downtown loft condo so there's no driveway to do a homebased shakedown. I guess it's either a local Walmart parking lot or an RV park close by. I think we'll do that latter. We'll report back after our first outing. Thanks again for your welcome.
