Just wanted to say hello and to thank Mike for a great site. We are getting ready to take our RV for a Close-to-home extended stay. If we can get a sewer site (not always easy), we'll be able to test the shower and the washer/dryer. Of course we'll only have 30 amps so we'll never know if the AC works.

We'll be back. Keep the threads going.

You should be able to use your AC on 30 amps, as long as you don't run any other high-amp appliances while it's on. For example, the microwave. It won't hurt to try. You can always reset the breaker.

My AC will run on a 20 amp circuit. At home, the kids sleep most of the summer boondocking beside the house.

Georgetown 370 - I am a newbie to this site. I watch the RV Net quite closely.

I am also a USAF retiree (CMSgt 1985). Wanting to visit Niagara Falls with my 25' TT, for just a few days (3?) Any site recommendations?
