Hello from north Alabama

New to this forum but am a life long camper. Make my living as an aerospace/defense engineer for General Dynamics but hope to retire (maybe early next year when spring rolls around). May even do the workcamping gig a bit...wife says I'm going to be bored to death if I retire. We gave away our 15 year old travel trailer to move up to a 5er that we would be comfortable in for extended stays. We've done years of camping out of a Bushtec trailer pulled behind our HD. Possibly between 1/2 time to 3/4 time. Not sure I want to completely give up my property to be full time RV living. Montana for the summer and south east Texas for winter sounds pretty good to me. Spend the spring and fall here on the beautiful Tn river in north Alabama.

Looks like there will be plenty of information (and opinions) on here to peruse.
