Welcome from the SE corner of Georgia! We also camp relatively close to home (45 miles). It's nice to have a great place for a weekend getaway. We go to Jekyll Island where there is a lot to do.

May just have to do that. We love the GA Coast and have been planning on getting down that way sometime. What are some great campgrounds in the area? Suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome. Ga. has some of the best parks. Will spend next week end at GA vets. Great golf packages and friends of parks program. Don't forget about the county parks and the elect co. parks. The NE atv parks are great also.

We just got back from Richmond hill Sp. Great place.

No where right now. Will be having a big family Thanksgiving get together on Thursday. Then back to work till Christmas and then we all get together once again. After that it's going to depend mostly on what's going on a work and if and when we can get away. Could possibly be Spring before we get out again.

Thursday

Yep, same here, we have about twenty something, changes every year, new babies etc; We are wanting to go somewhere between Christmas and New Years, do that every year. Somewhere warm would be nice, but Florida is probably out of the question, so maybe New Orleans?

Hello from south central GA. We go camping quite often at places close to us (mostly at Reed Bingham SP). I do like the Friends of Georgia State Parks program.

Leave Fri for Ga Vets to turkey roundup. Of course we missed the turkey but get the left overs. Friends out there now are having a great time and rubbing it in. All the food we are missing.

Hello and welcome from Hiram, GA. We are with you on the "anywhere warm" thing! We are looking forward to Spring and getting the camper out to some of the North GA Parks, and we are even thinking about taking it up to the Outer Banks sometime this coming Summer.

We are limited due to work also, but are trying to put more time aside for camping. Enjoy the camper and stay warm!

yes, I do hope we can at least take a short trip in Jan, or Feb. to break of the winter cold. Or at least get out by mid March to one of the Spring Bike Weeks.

Outer Banks

We were up that way a couple of years back, took the Sunnybrook on the Ferry and across the bay, what a trip, scared me half to death. This trip was around the 4th of July. That was the year when the fireworks blew up after being un-loaded off ferry. The park we stayed in was kind of a let down, the wind was always blowing, goof for flying I suppose. Probably want go back there any time soon.
If you want to get together anytime soon, just drop us a line, we live just up 61N between Dallas and Cartersville:

If it works out that we get to go anywhere before Spring I will. But come then I think he already has a couple of places in mind. One is with a motorcycle group up North to the Three Corners area. So we'll have to see what goes on.
