Hello from NW Chicago suburbs
Hey there all! Just dropping in to say hello from the northwest Chicago suburbs. This is actually our second trailer, first Rockwood. We previously had a Jayco but weren't very happy with it so traded it in (took a bath too, ugh). We picked up a 2018 2509S at the end of last year and we absolutely love it, much nicer than our Jayco was.
I've been lurking here for awhile trying to answer my own questions but figured it was time to sign up officially. Happy to be here, you all seem like a great crowd so looking forward to being a part of the community.
Cheers!

Cubs (sorry Sox), Bears, Hawks, Bulls. You bet. I don't have tons of time to watch these sports (2 young kids) but I enjoy them when time permits.

Did you buy from House of Camping?
We did and drove from NorCal there and back to get our new HTT. Saved over $4k, even after trip costs.

Welcome aboard from a NW Chicago suburban guy (6 months a year!). Took a similar bath when I sold my like new Voltage toyhauler to get my Riverstone Legacy. Hopefully it was worth it. First trip is tomorrow (Florida for the season). Already 32 degrees out yesterday. Not fun.

We bought this one from Camping World.
Our last (and also our very first) trailer that we traded in was a Jayco X213 (with the rear slide out king bed, here's a link) that we actually bought through an online deal with a dealer in Michigan (TerryTown RV), so only viewed pictures, not the best idea in hindsight. They were really great people, as a side note. Drove out there and stayed overnight and drove it back the next day. Boy was that interesting for a first time trailer owner. Felt like I was pulling a house.
We ended up not liking the layout like we thought we would, not a lot of interior room with the rear slide, very narrow. So we started looking for something better and landed on this one, which we are super happy with. The kids are much more happy too with the bigger bunks. Our previous TT served us well but it was time to change so here we are!
