hello from ny
after camping with a pop up for 2 years,we just upgraded to the 2017 shamrock233s
we haven't used it yet,got a trip planed in October.
if anyone has the same model and has any info on what things I should look out for,accessories needed and other tips I would love to hear from you.

50 amp to 30amp...why?....is there sites you go to only have 50amp?

No, most have both but the 30 Amp gets used more and that is hard on the blades inside of the receptacle and if one is broken it will not work as it should IF it works at all.

In the event this happens you can just switch from 30 to 50 which is easier than moving to another spot and way faster than waiting on someone to repair the broken one.

I have also read where some CG's have two units on one power box, if someone were there ahead of you and using the 30 it would be no problem for you to use the 50.

Suggest that you visit the Roo/Shamrock sub-forum.
There are tons of 233S posts/threads there and lots of 233S owners there to help.
