Hello from Oklahoma!!

I'm SO excited to find this website! We just bought a 2015 Rockwood 23IKSS ROO Wednesday and we are waiting for it to be delivered this coming Wednesday. I'm so excited I'm having a hard time waiting for it! We have been die hard pop up owners for over 20 years. We have loved every minute of camping with our pop ups. Over the years pop we have owned 3 pop ups. We just recently went to Branson, Mo and 3 Hybrids pulled into the campgrounds. We watched one pull in and it took under 30 minutes to set it up and get their grill fired up and ready to start cooking their dinner and it was just the dad that did all the outside setting up by himself. We were pretty impressed from that moment on! My husband has been wanting a trailer for a while but I just wasn't ready to give up the pop up yet so when we saw the Hybrids we felt like that was a great compromise. I like the feeling of "camping" and my husband was ready for some of the comforts of trailer camping and less set up time so we pulled out our lap top and to make a long story short, this past Wed. we signed the papers on our new Hybrid!
I can't wait to get it because camping season is rapidly coming to an end here. Once we get our Roo it will probably take a couple of weeks to learn how to use it and then we are going to take it out close and camp a few times. Then if weather permits we are planing another Branson trip to watch the Christmas shows! I sure hope and pray that the weather will stay good during Dec. then it can snow all it wants to after Dec. I've never seen Branson during the Christmas season and I just can't wait. I know it will truly bring on the Christmas Spirit. Our family is planning on going with us. We are hoping to start a new family tradition!
Sorry for the rambling. I am just so excited to start our new HTT journey in life. This is something I've dreamed about for a very long time and it's just about to come true!!! I hope to make many, many friends here! Have a wonderful day!

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on your new Roo!

We've got a pretty extensive set of knowledge between all the members on here so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Welcome and congrats on your new Roo!

We're down around Lake Eufaula. Holler at us if you plan a trip down this way. Might be able to set up a mini FROG gathering.

Welcome and congrats!!
We too just went from a pop up to a hybrid - picked up our new Forest River Solaire 163x on Wednesday night. We loved our pop-up - so easy to haul and set up.
The hybrids are great for us - we like to take weekend trips - take off Friday after work and come home Sunday afternoon - need something nice and easy to pull and set up for a short trip. Also, when we do take more time off work, we like to stay a few days here and a few days there - the hybrid is so light - moving from place to place is a breeze and doesn't cost us a fortune in fuel.
Unfortunately, camping season is mostly at an end up here in PA where we live so other than my boyfriend maybe taking it on a few hunting trips, it will be put in storage and covered for the winter. I do plan on visiting it at least once a week however, don't want it to get lonely.
