Hello from Oregon

Just picked up our 2013 Wildcat Sterling 32RL yesterday. Love it already. Traded off our brand new 2011 Roadtrek 190 Poplar, that we bought in January. It was great traveling RV but not so good for camping. Since my wife has doctor's appointments on Monday, and we live 130 miles away, we decided to use this weekend and check everything out, glad we did. We will take it back to the dealer tomorrow morning. Something is wrong with the axles, tires are really close together and after making turns they touch - burning rubber and squealing, Can't use city water connection either, don't know if any water gets in the 5th wheel or not, I do know that it sprays water at the connection outside. Can't drink the water from the holding tank either, it has a very strong plastic/chemical taste - nasty. Went to the Dealer today and they will look at it and fix it tomorrow.

Welcome

Sorry to hear about your problems. Didn't they spend some time before you drove off with it hooked up to make sure everything worked.
My dealer spend at least 2 hours showing and testing all in front of me.
Don't leave with without testing everything this time.
Good luck

Holy cow, how did that pass the "quality" inspection!
That sounds outright dangerous. Do let us know what is wrong with it.

Dropped off the 5th wheel this morning. Went back to the RV Dealer this afternoon. Right side tires are 3/8" apart, left side are 1" apart. Right side shackles are mounted closer to the rear than the left side. Also one of the right side shackles was twisted and missing a nut. Tech twisted shackle and replaced the nut, and he could not get the tires to touch. Shackles are not placed correctly. Dealer contacted manufacturer of home and we told that this was within tolerance? What's with that? Dealer contacted company that makes the frame (Lippert) but they have not responded yet. Hope to have better information tomorrow.
