Hello from Oregon

Yesterday my husband and I left our Wildwood tt at the dealer, and brought home a new Wildcat Maxx 272RLX 5th wheel.

We've gone from camping in tents, to a van, to a truck camper, to a pop-up, to a 25ft travel trailer, then to our new 5th wheel.

Now we just need to sort the stuff we took out of the tt, get rid of the stuff we never used, and put the rest away before our first trip. We have a trip planned for late August, though need to plan a "shake-down" trip before that.

I've already learned much from these forums, and hope to contribute as well.

Sally and Jim

Welcome from North Plains Oregon. Where'd you buy your Wildcat from? I got mine from Funtime in Tualatin. Sales department was easy and painless. Not happy about the service department though.

Our Wildcat also came from Funtime in Tualatin. I agree with you about the sales Dept, I'm still reserving judgement on service. The techs seem to know their stuff, and the unit seems to have been well prepared. The not so good was the manager who dropped the ball on several things. We talked to him last week after agreeing to the purchase. We wanted slide toppers, a sliding tray in the pass through, and an assist handle by the bedroom steps. We may have to bug him or find someone else to do the work.

Welcome from Georgia. I am currently in your beautiful state on business, but will be flying home today. Went to Mount Hood yesterday just to feel nature a bit. Love it.
