Hello from Orlando, Florida

My wife and I have been tent campers the past couple years and really enjoyed it. So far this year we have had two camping trips that both ended up soaking us and our friends. We decided that between the rain storms, small tent and our two dogs dying of heat, that we should invest in something a little bigget yet air conditioned and fun. We decided on a 2015 Rockwood Freedom 2280 pop up. Our first test trip will be to Long Point Park in Melbourne Beach, FL. We stayed there once with family and it's a really nice park. We hope to start our first big voyage up the east coast this summer.

Thanks and safe travels!

We love Long Point Park and Sebastian Inlet and wish we were there. Starting tomorrow we're going back to winter in Huntsville, AL

I am really looking forward to some dinner at Captain Hiram's in Sebastian. I'm already counting down the days. Huntsville is a beautiful area too. It's actually on our list to visit on our trip out west. Have a safe trip!

We have stayed at Long Point a number of times. We have sold our Flagstaff V-Lite and bought a Jayco Melbourne and moved to Sebastian. Used to live in Orlando. Give us a shout when you are at Long Point.

Have you tried the Long Point Café? Wife loves their Grouper Eggs Benedict

Welcome to the world of FROG from Spring TX, it seems your first camping experiences mirrors ours. Even after more than 50 years of RVing, we still enjoy camping & traveling with our Cedar Creek 5th wheel. It also seems that we learn something new every trip on the road. When we last visited Florida, we enjoyed C.B. Smith County Park so much that we booked it again this year as well. Florida has so many beach destinations . . . if we could trade places with you, we'd see them all! Hope to meet around the campfire down the road someday soon where we can compare RVing notes.

Welcome! Travel safe & enjoy, enjoy, enjoy your journeys!
