Hello from outside Savannah, GA

Jeff and Maggie from outside Savannah, just received our Grey Wolf 22RR in December, then work called me away. Looking forward to many weekends at the State Parks in Georgia. First time TT owners, been tent camping and got a popup tent last spring.

When I get back from deployment in April, thinking about a weekend shakedown trip to Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park near Claxton, GA. Far enough to test out how it rides, close enough to get back home if there are major problems. And get some fishing in. Kayaking with the wifey is not a bad time at all (if she is in a different yak.)

Welcome

From just up the road in Beaufort, SC. I see that Hunting Island State Park was suggested. It is a beautiful campground if you can get in! It sustained significant damage during Hurricane Matthew and is currently closed. I believe they are trying to get it open for Spring.
You might want to check out Short Stay outside of Charleston. It at one time was owned by the Navy but is now ran by the recreation folks at Joint Base Charleston. On Lake Marion with several water front sites. Also, Fort Gordon outside of Augusta, GA has a nice campground on Strom Thurmond Reservoir.
Thank you for your service and stay safe!

Welcome from just south of ya, Putnam County, Florida, and congrats on the Graywolf. One of our quick and fun getaways in GA is to Crooked River State Park. Nice sites, good facilities, lots of water to yak and fish in.

Crooked River is our first planned trip the last weekend in April for a shake down. Have never done any saltwater fishing, may have to try it.
