Hello from Palm Bay, Florida

Looking forward to reading about all the different places people go, so I can decide the best places.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
If you are up for a long drive I can let you in on a few of my favorites in California. Let us know what you are camping with too.

If he drove straight thru it would be well over 50 hours of driving since he would be towing a camper

I drove across I10 when I was stationed in California - took me grueling 52 hours - never again for me.

to the OP - try ReserveAmerica.com

Florida has an abundance of state and federal camp grounds.

Try Long Point - it is ran by Brevard County and since you are a resident I think you get a discount as well over me since I live in Osceola County.

I have a trip planned for Rainbow Springs from March 17th to the 22nd - have never been but heard the place is very nice.

Gamble Rodger's is right off of the beach / ocean - if you have a large rig its kinda hard to menuvear but overall nice place to camp
