Hello from Pensacola,FL

Hi, we are the Poolson’s that just downsized from a 34 ft Coachman to FR SunSeeker Sprinter with the full slide. We are on a new learning curve with what we can do without on a trip! My wife drives this one more then me, which is a nice change to have her comfortable in the driving experience. With the full slide we really don’t feel cramped inside, storage outside has been our thorn in our side. So far a thumbs up on our new RV, I think we will enjoy this more and make more trips. We RV to knock off our bucket list of places we want to see and take our pets with us.Click image for larger version

Congrats on your newest RV.

It sounds like you’re going to have a great time with the “kids” and the two of you. Downsizing’s going to be a bit of an adventure but I’m sure it’ll work out.

However.....that photo of the whole gang on the sofa doesn’t look like it was taken inside the Sprinter. Just a little tooooooooo roomy in the background.

True it wasn’t [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23], but them on the bed is in Sprinter. It has more room then you would think.Click image for larger version

If that’s an inside photo of your Sprinter, is that really a full wall slide down the driver side right into and including the bedroom?

Looks like the mbs 2400W and that is a full wall slide.
Sunseeker MBS 2400W Class C Motorhomes by Forest River RV

Nice that your wife wants to drive it. That'll make your trips a whole lot less stressful with two drivers. It's a beautiful rig.

We've got a much smaller rig, but love the self contained feature and the driving visibility. Storage is a problem, but you learn to live with essentials only.

The reason I ask is.....when the slide has to come in, I don’t see a lot of travel room at the end of the bed before it would touch the bathroom wall. The slide wall looks to be quite deep in the photo from vettecrazy.

I’ve seen beds that fold up (sometimes in half) when the slide comes in, but this photo shows there are drawers or cupboards under the mattress. Then the other thing.....you wouldn’t be able to sleep in the bed with the slide retracted.

Just wondering.

Yes it is, we sold our 34 ft Coachman last year, we had a elderly dog that was having health issues and staying home. We got the bug again and knew we didn’t want a repeat of what we had because we don’t spend that much time inside. We RV to vacation and see things we missed when we worked.
Found this and fell in love with the floor plan and size, love it. We took it out two weeks ago to Gulf States Park, Janice drives it everywhere. She needs work on backing into a space but that will come!

When the slides comes in, the foot of the bed will still be in the same place, that is stationary, the mattress folds. With the slid in you have walk around room but can’t sleep on the queen bed, you would have to sleep in the overhead bunk or make the bench into a bed when not using the slid.

British Columbia is a fun place, plus all the scenary, you'll enjoy it!

Now the cruise, I am envious!

I’m (Janice) was born here, my dad was from Asheville, NC, we bought a second home there 22 years ago but in Franklin, NC. We really thought we would make that our permanent home and sale the Florida home. We retired and spent 9 months their, our home was on top of the mt. We got snowed in, one of our grandchildren in Pensacola had a accident and several other events made us aware we wanted to stay in FL. We sold the home and bought a RV! Thank you, hope you get here before the home prices goes up more!
